Two Week NON-break!

TSSAA has a "dead period" where there are no allowed TSSAA athletic workouts, practices, or meetings. This two week period begins the week of June 26 and will end July 10.  I have encouraged all players at workout to not view this as a break (even though I've even called it that).  Instead our players need to be pushing themselves on their own to get better.  We include foot-speed drills, agility drills, ab work, explosion drills and more in our workouts that our players can copy at home.  The guys are pretty well conditioned physically and used to the heat and that needs to continue, not disappear.  I'll post the ab workout and some of our drills within the next few days to give a short list of things to keep doing, but it all comes down to getting outside and doing them.  When I see them on July 12, I will expect them to have not lost any conditioning!
