Friday Knight

Much better!  The score doesn't really reflect it, but we were in much better position defensively.  We're still not finishing tackles like I want and we're not playing with aggression, but we're still playing hard and we're in better position now.  I'm more pleased with the character of our team than anything.  This week's opponent had multiple personal fouls called on them.  There was continuous holding, hitting in the back, and poor sportsmanship.  How did the Knights respond?  They got back up off the turf and lined up for the next play!  We played clean and showed great character by not responding to a few examples of poor sportsmanship.  I'm very proud of our guys for that!  Offense was pretty non-existent, but we are continually working on improving.  I think the importance taking the weight room seriously is very apparent.  We are building something great and that will take time and effort.  Keep up the support and stay positive.  Good things will come!  Looking to our next opponent, we face another big, physical team.  We are going to prepare like no other, and hopefully good things will come next Friday Knight!
