Another win! What a hard fought ball game. We had numerous mistakes and some untimely turnovers that could have really put us in a pickle. I'm real proud of how our guys fought every step and in every situation to overcome. They never quit or laid down. Everytime something bad happened, we just bounced back to fight the next down. I'm proud of how they went on the attack and as a result came out on top. It was a great night and a good trip home. Thanks to everyone that went with us and everyone that helped pull everything together! Also a thanks to our first class opponents and hosts that served us a meal before we left for the trip home! What a blessing!
Next Friday Knight will be the last of the season. There was some speculation that our playoff hopes could still be realized, but it's just not to be. The new reports from TSSAA tell us that we are out this year. This is still a HUGE game. For me, it's the biggest of the year - because it's next. Let's go out on a winning note. There are already numerous story lines that make this game a great one - and an event to remember! It will be another hard fought battle - Homecoming and Sr. Night - next Friday Knight!

It's difficult to balance the newest training research with our time, needs, and availability to get the best results so our kids can be competitive and healthy throughout the season. After a lot of research, reading, and talking with experts from professional, olympic, collegiate, and high school sports training, I have developed this routine. This routine has the warm-up included. The whole of this particular workout is to maximize explosive strength and speed. It is what we will do on our Tuesday/Thursday workouts this summer. I'll continue to research training methods and results and change our workouts to get the best out of our kids! Please understand that this is collected from a lot of other coaches' and researchers' work.
