We have some issues with finding time in the weight room right now. I'm willing to stay and work the guys out after school. I'll should be able to get to RCA around 3:30 or 3:45 every school day beginning Thursday, January 27. Our workouts will be intense but we'll keep them short. We'll be done in about an hour. WE HAVE TO GET STRONGER....NOW! I feel like we were behind on depth, behind on speed, and way, way behind on strength last season. We are going to make up ground in all three areas, but the strength needs to come now. We have got to be lifting as hard as possible. Here's the gist of our training program:
High School:
Lift hard to put on mass and strength from now until May
Late spring we begin to transist into higher reps and more explosive movements and combinations to lead into speed training
Summer work on conditioning, explosiveness, core strength, and speed
Middle School:
Constant focus on explosiveness and core strength
Summer more focus on speed
We have to get stronger as much as possible right now so the rest will fall into place. Do your part! Lift like I ask you to and eat right! We'll have some more information coming soon!
