We have an open week on our schedule this year during fall break, so we are going to work on some fundamentals and be sure we stay in shape over fall break with practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:00 until 6:15.

It's difficult to balance the newest training research with our time, needs, and availability to get the best results so our kids can be competitive and healthy throughout the season. After a lot of research, reading, and talking with experts from professional, olympic, collegiate, and high school sports training, I have developed this routine. This routine has the warm-up included. The whole of this particular workout is to maximize explosive strength and speed. It is what we will do on our Tuesday/Thursday workouts this summer. I'll continue to research training methods and results and change our workouts to get the best out of our kids!
