Updates from The Round Table

The Round Table is what I'm calling our booster club until someone offers a better name.  Here's what is going on so far:

• All RCA Knight football player's parents are in the booster club
• I expect all parents to contribute by working concessions once and helping with one committee fundraiser
• We have some volunteers for the bluegrass festival (late spring), but we need someone to head it up.  Advertising needs to be happening now.
• We have a few people working on the breakfast.  It will be in January and is now a dinner.  More details coming soon.
• We have one on the car show, but help is needed.  A date needs to be set.
• No one has volunteered for the BBQ cook off yet that I recall.
• Others have suggested a haunted house, a rodeo, and some other events.  I am open to suggestions.  We just need to flesh out a plan and give the events a try, but we need to limit to 5 events, and everyone needs to be involved.  Remember, if everyone does a little, then no one has to do a lot.
• Players will be asking for donations soon.  I do not want parents being asked or doing the asking.  Parents are doing their part in the events, players will do their part with this and selling signs, and selling some tickets to the events, and possibly selling some mugs or seats.  We all have to pitch in to keep the program going.  Not only that, but I hope you recognize that everything  that we are doing is also aimed at improving RCA's visibility in the community.  We are constantly getting our name and our mission out there while providing family events or services for the community.
