WOW! Summer has flown by! Practice is here all of a sudden! We will begin practice Monday, July 30 from 3:30 until 6:00. This Monday, we plan on getting out equipment and having physicals. If time allows we will go out and practice some. Be prepared to sign the physical form and possibly some other forms when you pick up your player on Monday night.
We will practice the rest of the week (Monday through Friday) from 3:30 until 6:00 (except for Wednesday, which will be from 3:30 until 5:30). This will be our normal routine until I make a change.
Tonight, Thursday, July 26, we will have workouts at 6:15 until 8:00 as normal. However, I'd like to go over some plays and things if we have enough players present.
Time is on us! We have both a high school and a middle school jamboree on August 11! It will be here too soon!

It's difficult to balance the newest training research with our time, needs, and availability to get the best results so our kids can be competitive and healthy throughout the season. After a lot of research, reading, and talking with experts from professional, olympic, collegiate, and high school sports training, I have developed this routine. This routine has the warm-up included. The whole of this particular workout is to maximize explosive strength and speed. It is what we will do on our Tuesday/Thursday workouts this summer. I'll continue to research training methods and results and change our workouts to get the best out of our kids! Please understand that this is collected from a lot of other coaches' and researchers' work.
