It's that time of year again as we get ready for the 2012 edition of the "Middle Tennessee Flag Football Tournament"! We've decided this year after a few years of chili December days to host the tournament the first Saturday in November (3rd). The tournament is for all church youth groups & plays off of the Alabama/Tennessee football rivalry. We have a bracket for Alabama youth group teams & a bracket for Tennessee youth group teams and the championship game is between the state champs from each bracket. The cost per player is $10 through September 30th and $15 through October 28th (deadline for team signups). Each player must sign a waiver as well. Also we are selling tournament shirts. The shirts can be purchased for $8 through September 30th and $10 there after. We will also be projecting the big college football games on the wall in the cafeteria. Here are our needs for volunteers:
1. Tell your youth directors/ministers/pastors to mark the date of the tournament & organize a team.
2. Concession workers
3. Referees
4. Time keepers
5. Score keepers
6. Photographers/Videographers
7. Field liners
