Just wanted to give you a lay out of the next few weeks as we get ready for the start of Fall (late summer/fall) practices. We will have Knight Monday on July 22 at 5:30. Knight Monday is the night where we measure how far the kids have come in the weightroom but we will also give out equipment for the next day's practice.
Fall practice will start Tuesday July 23rd at 5:30 PM. This means they need to be dressed & warming up on the field by 5:30. We will do practices from 5:30-8:30 PM (possibly end around 8, depending on effort) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday up until school starts back & then we will go back to right after school practices. We are doing this for two reasons: 1. To keep from missing practice time due to the heat index & 2. To have as much time for the players with our volunteer coaches as possible. We are truly blessed with some great coaches & they have jobs they work during the day that may prohibit them from making a 3 PM practice. So while we have a more forgiving schedule I'd like to have them there as much as possible. Just wanted to let all of you know because this will cause some rescheduling of meals but I believe this gives us the best opportunity to cover what we need to cover leading up to school starting back.
