I hope you all had a great Memorial Day and I'm very thankful to all those who have served and have family who have. Just wanted to send out a reminder that we will kick-off our Summer workouts tonight by maxing and setting our goals for the Summer. We will be in the weight room tonight so no need for cleats unless someone wants to get a head start on conditioning. The High School boys (9th-12th grade) will start things off tonight at 5:30 PM and our Middle School boys (6th-8th grade) will get it going around 6:15 PM & be done around 7 PM. Both groups need to meet in the locker room before heading into the weight room for some instruction. They need to wear gym shorts, t-shirt & tennis shoes. The boys who were on the team last year should wear their workout gear from last summer and if possible the new guys should wear RCA gear.
Thursday night we will start our regular workouts at 5:30 PM & ending at 7 PM. Each player will be spending half the time in the weight room & half outside for conditioning. It's very important for the guys to start hydrating with H2O immediately. I'm very excited to get started this evening as what we do this Summer will impact our success this season and the future. Please encourage your boys as much as possible to attend every workout as muscle building also cuts down on injuries. Once again thank you for the opportunity to coach your sons!
